BIOGRAPHY
Fine art photographer/photojournalist Denise Marie Luko grew up in Hawaii. She began her career as a surf photographer with her first published photo in Surfer Magazine. Luko has created music photographs, conceptual art photos, and unique portraits. As a portrait artist and headshot photographer she specializes in children and teens. Luko worked for five years for Honolulu’s society magazine, R.S.V.P., as their event photographer. Denise Marie Luko has received 3 endowments from the U.S. Department of Education to produce photographs for a youth oriented anti-drug campaign. Luko has been published in music magazines such as Billboard, Guitar World, and Modern Drummer. She has also been published in magazines such as Time, Details and Discover. Denise Marie Luko is an internationally published artist/photojournalist. She is based in West Hollywood, California.
